Table-free CSS Design
The aim of this build was to create a clean standards compliant table-free website based on the edgy designs.
All pages are marked up semantically and all scripting is seperated from the code on the page. Viewing the site without stylesheets shows a simple, meaningful document.
This site was built from flat Fireworks images, and first rendered as CSS/XHTML templates. I then built the site based on an existing CMS, using PHP and MySQL.
This site features:
- image replacement of text for the navigation tabs,
- expandable CSS boxes for text
- a DOM scripted image gallery.
Unfortunately, this site is no longer active.
